SCHOLARSHIPS

The Boulé Foundation was established in 1980 by the Sigma Pi Phi Fraternity to ensure that our tradition of leadership continues.  This 501(c)3 organization with assets of $7.5 million generated primarily

by the membership, gives scholarships to deserving young men and women who are in pursuit of undergraduate and graduate education. The Foundation reflects the Fraternity’s commitment to build a generation of people prepared to face the responsibilities and challenges of leading the African American community in the twenty-first century.  Through scholarships and grants – to individuals and institutions – the Boulé Foundation is working to build a community of excellence.

Boulé Foundation Awards

  • Every year the Boulé offers twelve graduating high school seniors who are entering college with $1,000 scholarships in each of the four years they are enrolled in college. The program is run in conjunction with the National Achievement Scholarship Program.  To date, 202 scholarships have been awarded.

  • $20,000 awarded to a student entering a qualified program to pursue a two-year Master of Business Administration degree.

  • An annual four-year college scholarship is awarded in memory of Archon LeBaron Taylor, a trailblazing executive in the entertainment industry.

  • In addition to supporting individuals, the Boulé Foundation also supports organizations that promote excellence and leadership in the African American community.  Awards have been granted to the United Negro College Fund and similar organizations dedicated to education, social action and philanthropy.
